On my way to Portland, OR so just really quick...

The IAP2 NorCal chapter hosted a lunch event in San Francisco back in December with two people from the Loomio team.

It's definitely worth a look. We have a sandbox set up. If anyone would like an invite, please contact me off-list.

Their website has more info about their history (Occupy movement) and main focus (light-weight group decision making). It's well executed.

Pluses and minuses might depend on what use cases you have in mind. Anything in particular? ;-)

Hello fellow NCDD'ers!

Just wondering if anyone has heard of, knows of, has used something called Loomio: https://www.loomio.org/

It came across my desk today and I don't think anyone's ever made mention of it in this discussion group (I might be wrong).

It looks great (and free) and they are currently crowdfunding. I'd think the practitioners on this list might be able to note any pluses or minuses about it at first glance. Interested to hear what you think.

Cheers,
Becca
